The Area has two confirmed of events in May, subject to the usual weather, Covid and unknowns.
Epsom Radio Flying Club will be holding an all-electric fixed wing fly-in on Sunday 8th May, in the Area of Charlwood, Surrey. Open from 10:00, pilots briefing at 10:45, flying from 11:00 to 18:00. Pilots must be BMFA members and if not holding at least an “A” Certificate will need to fly under supervision. There will be ample car parking, tea, coffee and a BBQ. Please email chairman@erfc.org.uk to register your models and include your BMFA number to receive directions to the flying field.
Hastings Model Flying Club will be running an Achievement testing and training day on Saturday 28th May as part of their May event week. It will be open to all BMFA members. Their site off the A259 Pevensey to Bexhill road. Food will be available to purchase, tea and coffee will be provided free by the South East Area.
