The BMFA board has created a new director position called ‘Outreach Director’ and each Area has been tasked with appointing an ‘Outreach Co-Ordinator’ to work with Helen Jones.
The SE Committee are therefore looking for someone who can fulfil that new role on our area.

The position entails the following activities –
- Building and co-ordinating a team to deliver outreach activity
- Becoming a member of the BMFA Outreach Working Group
- Being the point of contact for the BMFA Office for Outreach opportunities
- Encouraging clubs to run family fun-flying days and outreach activities for all
- Being the point of contact for clubs and members in the Area for advice and guidance on Outreach Activities
- Publicising events in the SE Area and providing the Outreach Director and BMFA PR team with details of events and activities
- Encouraging Outreach activities within community youth groups in the SE Area
- Encouraging Outreach activities within community groups for older people in the SE Area
