The SE Area held their Scale Fly-In on the 7th Sept, the event was kindly hosted by Epsom Radio Flying Club at their field.
Following the SE Area Scale Comp in Aug, this was a chance for anyone who had a scale model (or similar) to enjoy a relaxed flying day at the ERFC field.
There were a large number of flyers and models on display on the day and the SE BMFA Gazebo was there to facilitate a shelter for the barbecue.

There was a fairly strong cross-wind on the day which got a bit stronger as the day went on but despite that a large number of models were put through their paces.
I attended the event but wasn’t flying as I generally only fly gliders , however I realised that I could have taken my Tucano power model along as there was another one present on the day.
Below are some of the models which were flown on the day –
Piper Cub – N Wallis
Fiesler Storch – S Willis
Bristol Scout – J Christie
Tucano – N Hall
Tiger Moth – R Marples
